Selecting the right grout for your tiles can make a big difference to the overall finished look. By choosing the same color grout as your tile, you create and even monotone look which keeps the space open if the tile is light or bold block of color if the tile is colored or dark. If you select a contrasting color grout then you break up the overall color and depending on which you want to stand out the grout or the tile can become your feature. A good example is using black and white, a white tile with a black grout makes the white tiles appear to sit forward of the wall, if you reverse taht the black tiles appear to receed back and the white grout is prominent. Therefore selecting different colored grouts is an important decision when choosing tiles, don't leave it up to the installer!
