Color Tip - Color for Small Spaced Kitchens

A job we often have to do is spruce up small kitchens. Here are a few tips for using color in small spaced kitchens. Don’t use dark timbers and colors that will make the space appear smaller. So avoid dark reds, purples, dark blues and greens.

Look for clear crisp colors or whites with a tint of blue, green or yellow for a subtle background of color. Keep cabinetry simple and unadorned and avoid clutter as it will create chaos in a small kitchen.

Give it a go and remember that the smaller the space the less room you have to decorate so the rule of thumb goes - less is best!
