A simple way to decorate on a budget is by using greeting cards or calendar pictures and framing them with a ready made frame. This is an effective way to economically create decoration for your home. Try using your children's art around the house in the frames and give them a sense of pride in their work. You can pick a theme or go with a color or texture, you can even use remnants of fabric, they provide interest as well as good color and depth. You can then continue your theme inexpensively.
