White is not technically a color, it is a neutral like black and grey, but we often call it a color to make our lives simpler.
White is probably the most used color in home decorating! Most ceilings today are white, a great deal of bathrooms are predominately white, and a good proportion of bathroom and kitchen fittings, fixtures and appliances are white, probably due to the fact that pretty much everything goes with white.
White is very useful color tool when starting out in decorating or design and have a fear for jumping into using bold color. It can be easy to start with white walls and gradually build up color around it in the soft furnishings and artwork, accessories and furniture. This is the safe way to get confidence using color using white as your starting palette.
