The positioning of artwork is often a last minute rush task to finish off a room, but time and consideration should be spent to ensure that balance and interest is created. If artwork is placed incorrectly a mismatch of paintings haphazardly placed can be distressing to the eye and create a sense of disorder upsetting the natural flow through a room. Therefore careful consideration needs to be used when undertaking this task. Place the artwork on the floor and group pieces together to make sure they will look balanced before even thinking about hanging them on the wall.
