Design Tip of the Day – Framing Art Work

Design Quick Tip of the Day – Framing Art Work

arranging artwork

It is important to think of the artwork when selecting a frame for it. Choose one that will enhance it’s beauty, rather than detract. Think about where it is to be placed in the room and that can sometimes help you work out the overall size of the frame and the colored mount to use.

Don’t wall in love with a frame and use it unless it enhances the artwork. The last thing you want is the frame to take center stage. If you love the frame so much – put it on a mirror and then it will be the focus.
